We’re excited to welcome you to our last Ananse Climate Tuesday!
Join us on Tuesday the 8st of June for a small and interactive session with storytellers Paul Middellijn from Suriname, in conversation with Ama van Dantzig and others. This session will be hosted by Lynn Zebeda and Kwame Kondor.
Our main guest Paul Middellijn, calling in from Paramaribo, is a master storyteller. Hehas shared the magic of storytelling with audiences from all over the world. He has published many children's books (also about Ananse/Anansi the spider, as well as poetry and music. He has trained many people in the profession of storytelling. If you understand Dutch, please visit his website: www.paulmiddellijn.net
We will also go into the art of LISTENING to stories. As well as have a conversation about how Ananse is one of the many threads connecting Ghana and Surinam, and how that connection is especially important today.
We look forward to having guests in our virtual living room from Suriname and Ghana and The Netherlands, who share so much heritage.
